Daniel Beck is Vice Chairman and Chief Analytics Officer of CAL-IN. 

Mr. Beck's expertise ranges from enterprise risk management, market risk and asset liability management, to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private equity and strategic due diligence.

Mr. Beck was Vice President in charge of corporate business development at BARRA, Inc., a leading provider of risk management and consulting services to top tier Institutional Investors. He was responsible for initiating, negotiating and managing BARRA's acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances worldwide.

As Vice President in charge of BARRA's Global Fixed Income Services, he also led BARRA’s development of valuation, risk and prepayment models for Asset Backed, Mortgage Backed Securities, CMO/CDOs and Private Placement Securities.

Mr. Beck graduated with an MBA in Finance from the University of California at Berkeley, and with a Master of Science in Engineering for the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in Paris.

Mr Beck sits on the Board and Advisory Committee of privately held companies. Mr. Beck is also a partner with E. H. Capital Group, a Hedge Fund specializing in Leveraged U.S. High Yield Fixed Income Strategies.
